The beach is known for the shady pine groves and the mermaid statue of Songkhla. East of this statue there are cat and rat statues. It's a quiet, peaceful beach to walk along, a lot of benches can be found between casuarina trees. Many amenities, such as pavements, pavilions, have been added to improve this position as the main attraction of Songkhla.
